Educational Field Trip to The Baltalimanı Japanese Garden

Our 1st grade students participated in an educational field trip to the Baltalimanı Japanese Garden. During the trip, within the scope of the “Nature and Environment” theme, our students observed nature, explored biodiversity in their surroundings, and reinforced their knowledge about the growth and living conditions of living beings. By establishing an interdisciplinary connection with the “In the Footsteps of Our Ancestors” theme in their Turkish lessons, they also had the opportunity to explore different cultures’ relationships with nature, their ways of life, and how these relationships are reflected in daily life.
