HES Racing’s Electric Vehicle Grand Prix Success
Our high school student team, HES Racing, returned from Dubai with two awards.
At the Electric Vehicle Grand Prix (EVGP) held in Dubai on February 9–15, with 42 teams competing, our students proudly represented both our school and our country by placing: 10th in the Mixed Category, 6th in the Stock Car Category, 1st in the First-Year Teams Category.
Racing on the same track alongside international teams, our students showcased their engineering knowledge, problem-solving capabilities, and teamwork skills. Following a year-long design and production preparation process, they built their own electric vehicle in just three days and competed against teams from the USA, the UAE, and Europe. This milestone marked Hisar School’s first experience in electric vehicle design and racing, bringing valuable learning and a powerful new experience to our community.
In addition, the team received the “Projotech” Award, recognizing the dedication and effort invested throughout the preparation phase—an achievement appreciated on an international stage. Congratulations to our students and mentor teachers.
