Metacognition Trainings
The ability to recognize, monitor, and regulate one’s own thinking processes enables learners not only to acquire knowledge but also to understand how they learn. This skill fosters independence, flexibility, and depth, while also enhancing learners’ sense of responsibility for their own learning, as well as their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. As a result, academic achievement is supported, lifelong learning habits are cultivated, and individuals become the architects of their own learning.
At Hisar School, we began this training with school administrators and center coordinators in June under the guidance of Leo Thompson, and continued it in August during the seminar period with department heads and level leaders.
