Our Student Completed The Physics Research Program

Our 10th grade student Yamaç Ö. was selected by our high school science department teachers to participate in a physics research program conducted under the supervision of Boğaziçi University faculty member Asst. Prof. Bora Akgün. He successfully completed his work throughout the summer at the university’s Medical Imaging Laboratory.

While closely observing experiments conducted with Raman spectroscopy and optical tweezers, our student followed ongoing projects on aspirin-induced red blood cell deformation and structural changes in plants. He also authored a research paper on optical tweezers using Overleaf.

We congratulate our student and wish him continued success.
