The NSS Space Settlement Contest

Our high school students Yamaç Ö., Salih Umut Ş., Ata K., and Ömer E. placed second in the world in the 10th grade category at the NSS Space Settlement Contest. This year, 29,000 students from 31 countries participated in the competition with 4,900 projects.

The NSS Space Settlement Contest aims to encourage young people to engage in space research and to design future space colonies from scientific, architectural, and social perspectives.

With this achievement, our students will represent our school at the International Space Development Conference (ISDC), which will be held in Washington, DC in June. We congratulate our students and wish them continued success.
